Veterinary Assistants

Our vet assistants play a key role in the operation of our hospital. They manage the exam rooms, review your pet’s health record, assist our doctors in the exam room, and aid our CVTs in our treatment area. Each assistant undergoes specialized training that covers proper restraint of patients, as well as filling prescriptions and explaining medications to clients.

When I am not studying my brains out in Vet School, I enjoy playing guitar, eating ice cream, and adopting more animals than I should.

Certified Veterinary Technicians

Our CVTs are qualified professionals who deliver unparalleled patient care. All of our CVTs are college trained and state certified as a Veterinary Technician.  They are instrumental in helping your veterinarian provide the care your pet deserves. Our CVTs assist during surgery, administer and monitor anesthesia, place IV catheters, take digital x-rays, perform laboratory testing and so much more. They also have advanced training in dental care! And they do all of these things with your pet’s comfort and well-being in mind!
